FROM ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY

How to Make Reality Out of Possibility

One of the most exciting passages in the Bible to me is the passage which says, “…with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).

The possibilities of good are unlimited, but you have make reality out of possibility, for as long as good remains simply a possibility, it will do you no good.  Along with this verse of Scripture “With God all things are possible,” I think of another very exciting verse of Scripture, which is also from the lips of Jesus.  “All things are possible to him who believes.”  And I want to read these two verses of Scripture together, and I want you to notice there is something between the lines here. 

Affirmation #1
With God all things are possible.

Affirmation #2
All things are possible to him who believes.

And I’ll tell you what I read between these lines. Notice that with God all things are possible and that all things are possible to him who believes, I got this: the person who believes is God in action.

Affirmation #3
When I believe I am God in action.

I want to be purposely redundant, purposely repetitious.  With God all things are possible.  Jesus said that.  With God all things are possible.  But it doesn’t stop there.  All things are possible to him who believes.  Are those two different people?  No.  This speaks of the oneness of God and man. Remember what Jesus said, “I and my Father are one.”

The greatest delusion of mankind is that we think we are separate from God.  That’s the only sin there is, to believe you are separate and apart from God. Every other sin comes from that.  Every other breach of ethics and morality comes from this first delusion.  So if one believes in his oneness with God, all things are possible to him.  God does not know you as something apart.  The Infinite does not know you as something apart from Itself. 

Affirmation #4
The Infinite does not know me as someone apart from Itself.

Affirmation #5
God believes in me. 

When you, as an individual expression of the Infinite, believe in the Infinite and the Infinite believes in you, there is a connection of faith and power that is unstoppable.  I believe in God, God believes in me. 

Affirmation #6
I believe in God and God believes in me.

Knowing the basis of your power is the starting point of making reality out of possibility.  My oneness with the Infinite is my basis of power.

My oneness with the Infinite is my basis of power.

And Jesus, the individual, kept telling us of his identity with the Infinite Father because all of the miracles that he performed, all of the good works that he did, he kept saying, “This is my Father working through me.”  The Father that dwells in me, does the work.”  And when I believe in the presence of God within me, I become God in action.  When I believe in the goodness of God within me, when I believe in the mind of God, the intelligence of God within me, I become God in action.  In all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

One of the first steps in making reality out of possibility is you must accept the possibility of the good which you desire. If it’s more money that you desire you must first believe, “It is possible for me to more money.” 

Affirmation #8
It is possible for me to make more money.

Accept the possibility of the good which you desire.  As you you’re your notes write in the first person, “I accept the possibility of the good which I desire.” Once you accept an idea in your mind and you open your mind to these right ideas an inflow of other correlating ideas begin to take place.  Everything you need begins to come to you—the right people begin to cross your path. But the first step is to accept the possibility in your mind.

When you believe in yourself and you set forth with positive thought and positive actions the doors of opportunity have to swing open to you.

When you believe in the possibility of good, when you believe in the power of God within you, you can make even the impossible possible.

No matter what you have done or have not done, the Infinite has a forgiving heart.  No matter how wrong you’ve been, the Infinite forgives you when you forgive yourself.

However, I discovered that people don’t forgive themselves and that is why they appear to be in an endless cycle of misfortune.  I suggest you get my teaching, “How to STOP Negative Things in Your Life.” Forgiveness begins with you.  If you forgive yourself the Infinite holds nothing against you. 

Steps to making reality out of possibility

1. Open your mind to the possibility of good. 
2. Visualize the good you desire already established, perfect and complete, with the eye of your Imagination. 
3. Then you will be led what to do, you will be connected by God in you to the right people, and your faith will compel the right ways and means and propel you to right action. 

Step number one is to open your mind to the possibility of the thing you desire. Here is a self-interrogation question: What are the three things that I desire the most?  You may want to enumerate them in a list.  After you write the things that you want, the things that you’d like to see come to pass in your life, immediately believe in the possibility of those things, and you will become God in action. God will begin to act in you and through you and as you, to bring about the materialization of that good which you desire.

Step number two, after you accept the possibility of the good which you desire, then immediately begin to visualize, seeing it already established, perfect and complete with the eye of your Imagination.  In your mind begin to enjoy that good that you want to be, to do and to have.  Here’s a simple materialistic example.  If it’s a car you desire, decide what kind you want.  You must decide what you want, and I find the number one reason that people don’t get that they want is because they don’t know what they want.  And if they know what they want, they never become definite, positive and specific about it. 

I think some people are afraid to really say what they want.  If you don’t specify exactly what you want, you have to take what you can get, which in many cases will be nothing.

Even the Infinite wants to know that.  Jesus met a blind man who was crying out by the roadside, “Jesus, thou son of David have mercy on me.”  And Jesus yelled out and says, “Tell me what is it that you want me to do for you?”  Perhaps there are some intellectuals standing around who says, “Oh, listen to Jesus. The man is blind, he ought to know he wants to be healed and given his sight.”  You can’t take anything for granted, particularly the Infinite.  With God, all things are possible.

In this case Jesus represents the Infinite Power, the Infinite Possibility.  What did Jesus say?  “What is it that you want me to do for you?  What do you want, a house?  What kind, any kind?”

That’s why you haven’t got any.  I want a car.  What kind, any kind? Even the Infinite can’t answer that.  The Infinite must become definite and you must be definite with the Infinite.

I must be definite with the Infinite.

Remember, these instructions are necessary for making reality out of possibility.  In order to make reality out of possibility, I must be definite with the Infinite.  If I’m not definite with the Infinite, I’m not going to get far.  It is no more problem with the Infinite to give you a million dollars than it is to give you a thousand.  But you see, there is an area of the individual consciousness which must be conditioned to receive.  Because the individual on the level of an individual can only receive what his mind is conditioned to receive.  You can only be what you condition your mind to be.  You can only do what you condition your mind to do.  You can only have what you condition your mind to have. You must condition your mind to receive by first believing in the possibility of the good which you desire.  Then you must define exactly what you want, and begin to visualize it, because you can’t even visualize having what you want, doing what you want and being what you want, until you decide what it is you want.  How are you going to visualize it unless you know what the hell you want? 

This is an important point: many times people find it easier to see other people with goods things rather than to see themselves with it.  And people will very quickly tell you, “Well, that’s for them, but that’s not for me, you know, that’s for rich people.”

I have what I call a Mind Power prayer here that I want to practice with you, because this is not just theory but actual practice because I want you to receive it in your consciousness. 

I would like to make an important point.  Ultimately, you want to strive to get to the point where you want goodness not only for yourself but for everybody else as well.  You are free in your mind and this adds power to you when you want good for everybody.  In healing another, you heal yourself.  In freeing another, you free yourself.  In lifting another, you lift yourself. 

Let’s become aware that we can take our self-awareness and do anything we want to do, be anything we want to be, and have anything we want to have.

I want you to sit back and get relaxed and comfortable, listen to and repeat this Mind Power treatment. As you listen and repeat this treatment place your hands in a receptive position.

I open my mind to the greatest and happiest possibilities of God-in-me.  I see the greatest and happiest possibilities of good for myself, for everyone and everything.

I see the greatest and happiest possibilities of health for myself and everyone.  With God healing and health are possible.  For healing is the revealing of the wholeness of God in man.  Health is the wholeness of God in man. Health is the wholeness of God in me.  God-in-me is my health RIGHT NOW and for eternity.  This realization is a healing, health-keeping power unto me and everyone who thinks of me and of whom I think.  Thank you God-in-me for Health, for Strength and for Healing.

I see the greatest possibilities of happiness for myself and everyone.  With God happiness is not only a possibility but a reality to me as I open my mind to happiness. 

Now go forth into June knowing and believing you are a child of the Creator therefore you deserve all the Good of your Father. In Luke 15:31 the Scriptures say, “And he [the Father] said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.” Rejoice and become excited about the things you are creating in 2009 and begin working your plan to acquire all the good you desire.  There is only one economy and that is God’s Economy, Thought. Remember, your good comes to you according to your Faith through planning and by taking the corresponding actions.
